See how many of these secret things you found on Just In Time For Christmas.

Two minutes after the ninth track—"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" you will find the first hidden track, another version of "The Little Drummer Boy". This was a blow-off version of the song and it was never really intended for the recording, but nevertheless, I had to put it on. How it worked---Adam picked 3 styles on his keyboard, and I would sing as I felt moved to when I heard them. The first two went off without a hitch, (an Indian feel including a Simpson’s tribute and an 80’s techno bit) now the third….that’s another story. First off, Adam could momentarily not find right the setting on the keyboard. If you turn the volume way up in the section between the 2nd and 3rd segments you can actually hear him say, “Where is it?” Then, I was completely surprised when he finally found it and it turned out to be animal sounds! You can hear me laugh out of shear disbelief. Finally, I decided to sing everything up an octave (don’t really know why?!), and there was a moment of panic there as it started to get too high, so I just kind of changed the melody to accommodate my daringness (or cowardice). After the song ends, you can hear what most of the recording sessions were like for Adam and I, fun and full of laughter (mostly at ourselves!)

Two minutes after that track concludes, you will find the second hidden track. This is of my encore song, “I Will Remember You” by Sarah McLachlan, Seamus Egan, and Dave Merenda. You may have seen that I thank them in my special thanks section---this is why. It is a pretty straightforward rendition, which features Kristin Bryan and even ME singing the back-ups!

Finally, I wanted to bring this recording full circle by doing something with the Wookiee song. So Adam and I asked some cast members from the production of Damn Yankees that we were working on to come in and participate in a mock Chewbacca audition. One minute after the conclusion of “I Will Remember You”, you get to experience us having more fun in the studio!

I hope you found all these things. If not, go check them out!
